SquadStack.ai unveils in-app voice AI to cut drop-offs

Sat, 27th Dec 2025

Indian software company SquadStack.ai has launched an in-app voice assistant that lets users speak or chat inside mobile and web applications for real-time guidance during digital journeys.

The In-App Voice AI Assistant adds a conversational layer on top of existing screens in websites and apps. It works as an embedded interface that responds to user questions in natural language.

SquadStack.ai positions the product for high-intent use cases such as financial services, automotive sales, eCommerce, education and travel. It targets points in the journey where customers often abandon applications or purchase flows.

Friction in digital journeys

The company said many digital journeys still require users to scroll through long pages, search across multiple sections and compare complex options on their own. It cited internal estimates that up to 60 per cent of high-intent customers drop off during early exploration stages when they do not receive timely assistance.

The new assistant sits inside the existing interface. Users can ask questions or describe what they are trying to do, instead of navigating menus or help sections.

SquadStack.ai said this structure removes the need for redirects to external chat windows or call centres. It also removes wait times for human support and reduces the effort of finding relevant information.

The company expects this real-time interaction to make options clearer for end users and to shorten decision cycles. It anticipates that more users will complete application forms, comparison flows and purchase steps as a result.

Apurv Agrawal, Co-Founder and CEO of SquadStack.ai, said the launch reflects a shift in how users interact with software.

"The next generation of digital experiences will be conversational by default.. Interfaces must stop behaving passively and start guiding users in real time, regardless of language or complexity. The In-App Voice AI Assistant represents our vision for this future, where interfaces behave intelligently, experiences feel intuitive, and every user can move forward effortlessly," said Apurv Agrawal, Co-Founder & CEO, SquadStack.ai.

Use case focus

The company highlighted a digital car-buying example to illustrate the product's intended role. It said many customers struggle to compare variants, understand price differences or assess which model fits their needs.

In that scenario, users would be able to ask questions inside the car-buying journey, rather than switching to search engines or external reviews. The assistant would respond with guidance in context and in real time.

SquadStack.ai said this reduces hesitation during complex choices, limits decision friction and keeps users inside the original flow. It expects this to push more users towards a suitable product selection and to maintain engagement during the process.

The company said the assistant supports workflows across assisted sales, product comparisons, lead qualification, onboarding, account opening and eCommerce navigation. It said early pilots have shown lower early-stage drop-off rates and faster conversion speeds across banking, financial services and insurance, automotive, eCommerce, education and travel clients.

Humanoid AI stack

The assistant runs on SquadStack.ai's Humanoid AI Agent Stack. The model is trained on what the company describes as billions of structured conversations across India.

SquadStack.ai said the system can process a range of Indian accents and languages. It described the output voice as natural and human-like in its delivery.

The company said its underlying voice engine recently passed what it termed a "Turing Test milestone" for naturalness. It said this outcome supports its push for large-scale adoption across what it calls "Bharat-scale" user bases, where trust in automated voice systems is a key requirement.

Data and integration

The In-App Voice AI Assistant is delivered as an embeddable software development kit. Product teams can integrate it into existing web, Android and iOS journeys.

SquadStack.ai said the integration process does not require major changes to current customer interfaces. Developers can insert the assistant as an overlay or a dedicated interaction element inside key journeys.

The company said it has designed the product for large organisations that face regulatory demands. It includes Indian data residency options and security controls that align with common industry standards.

Clients can host data within India under this configuration. SquadStack.ai expects this to appeal in sectors such as financial services where data location rules play a central role in technology decisions.

Market positioning

Founded in 2021, SquadStack.ai focuses on AI-led automation for sales and customer experience operations. The company runs AI-driven calling and workflow systems for Indian brands such as TATA, Bajaj Finserv, Kotak Securities, Axis Securities, PhonePe, Zepto, AngelOne, Indiamart, ShipRocket and Eureka Forbes.

The firm said it currently executes more than 750,000 calls through its AI systems. It plans to extend this base into in-app interactions through the new assistant.

SquadStack.ai said it will continue to invest in its conversational stack and in language coverage for Indian users. It expects more businesses to embed voice-driven assistance inside their applications as they redesign digital journeys around real-time guidance.
