Salesforce launches SMB Growth Kit for India businesses
Fri, 17th Jul 2026 (Today)
Salesforce has launched SMB Growth Kit in India, combining Agentforce Sales, Slack and Tableau for small and medium businesses.
The offering targets businesses looking to replace a patchwork of tools and manual processes with a single system that can be set up in four to six weeks.
India's smaller businesses have become a key market for software suppliers as owners look for practical uses of artificial intelligence without taking on large technology projects. Many still manage sales records, internal communication and reporting through separate applications, spreadsheets and manual updates.
Salesforce's new package brings together customer data, team messaging and reporting tools in a single subscription sold through selected reseller partners in India. It includes onboarding, setup support and post-launch assistance.
What is included
At the centre of the bundle is Agentforce Sales, intended to give smaller companies a single view of leads, sales opportunities and pipeline activity. The tool includes automated lead assignment, workflow automation, mobile access and AI features such as opportunity scoring, forecasting and recommendations.
Slack provides the collaboration layer. Smaller teams can use it across sales, customer support, human resources, information technology and operations, reflecting how staff in growing businesses often cover several functions at once.
Tableau provides the analytics component. The software is designed to help founders and managers track revenue trends, pipeline health and broader business performance through live dashboards, including on mobile devices.
Its connection with Salesforce data is intended to reduce the need for separate reporting projects or additional data infrastructure. The approach reflects a broader push by software suppliers to sell pre-packaged systems to smaller companies that lack specialist technology teams.
India focus
The launch underscores Salesforce's effort to deepen its presence among Indian small and medium businesses, a segment that has often lagged large enterprises in adopting integrated customer management software. Cost, implementation time and employee adoption have all been barriers for smaller firms.
By packaging sales software, collaboration tools and analytics together, Salesforce is aiming to appeal to business owners who want a faster route to deployment. Customers can become operational within four to six weeks of starting, suggesting a narrower, more standardised implementation than a typical enterprise software project.
The reseller-only route is also notable. Rather than relying solely on direct sales, Salesforce will use selected partners across India to deliver the package, which could help it reach regional and mid-market customers more efficiently while keeping deployment support consistent.
Executive comments
Mankiran Chowhan, Managing Director, Salesforce India, described the company's view of the market challenge.
"India's SMBs are moving quickly toward AI, but ambition alone is not enough. Many businesses are investing in AI, but far fewer have implemented it because their customer data, team conversations and business insights are still scattered. SMB Growth Kit gives growing businesses one connected system where sales activity, team conversations and live insights work together - helping teams act with more confidence, fewer blind spots and less guesswork," said Chowhan.
Another executive said the company sees immediate operational gains as part of the pitch to smaller firms, not just AI adoption.
"We launched SMB Growth Kit to give growing businesses one connected way to run sales, collaborate on deals and understand business performance in real time. With Agentforce Sales, Slack and Tableau working together, teams can spend less time chasing updates and more time moving customers forward. That is the immediate value: clearer pipeline, faster decisions and fewer blind spots. As these businesses grow, that connected data foundation also gives them a stronger base for using AI in ways that are trusted, useful and grounded in the reality of their business," said Kaja.
The product is available in India for small and medium businesses through selected Salesforce reseller partners, with onboarding, setup and post-launch support included.
