CloudifyOps launches MIXIMO for cloud migration plans

CloudifyOps has launched MIXIMO, an artificial intelligence-based platform for cloud migration and modernisation designed to cover the full cloud transformation process in one system.

The Bengaluru-based company says the platform takes organisations from discovery and assessment through migration planning and execution to modernisation.

MIXIMO supports Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform as both source and target environments. It can be used for moves from on-premises systems to the cloud, as well as migrations between cloud providers.

According to CloudifyOps, the platform uses infrastructure and application discovery, portfolio assessment, dependency mapping and artificial intelligence-based recommendations to help teams decide how workloads should be moved. Discovery can be carried out through agent-based, agentless and repository-based methods.

The system supports three migration approaches: rehost, replatform and refactor. It also produces what CloudifyOps calls an End State Blueprint for individual workloads, giving teams a visual migration architecture plan.

A key feature is its use of utilisation data to guide infrastructure choices. CloudifyOps says its recommendation engine can provide one-to-one mapping, cost-focused mapping and performance-focused mapping based on source usage patterns.

Market focus

CloudifyOps says the product is aimed at startups, smaller businesses and large enterprises. Target sectors include healthcare, banking and financial services, software-as-a-service, technology, eCommerce, logistics and manufacturing.

For organisations with data sovereignty or compliance requirements, MIXIMO supports self-hosted and hybrid large language model deployments. This is intended to allow sensitive infrastructure data to remain within an organisation's own environment.

The launch places CloudifyOps in a market where businesses continue to review legacy estates, manage cloud spending and weigh how far to modernise applications rather than simply move them. Migration projects have often relied on external consulting teams, manual assessment and broad assumptions about workload requirements.

Against that backdrop, CloudifyOps is presenting MIXIMO as a way to bring assessment and planning into a more standardised software platform. The company says the product was built by engineers with experience in large-scale transformation projects.

Bellapu's comments put the company's focus on planning and analysis at the centre of the launch, rather than on the mechanics of moving workloads between environments.

CloudifyOps was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Bengaluru, with offices in Chennai, Dubai and the United States. It says it has more than 150 cloud and artificial intelligence specialists and works across banking and financial services, healthcare, SaaS and enterprise technology.

It also describes itself as an Amazon Web Services Advanced Consulting Partner and says it is among a small number of organisations in India with AWS AI Services Competency across both generative artificial intelligence and agentic artificial intelligence.

The business is positioning the launch as more than a new software tool. It says MIXIMO is intended to package migration knowledge gathered through client work into a repeatable product for engineering teams.
