Lexar Udaan 2.0 in Thailand to reward India partners
Lexar will hold its all-India partner meet, Lexar Udaan 2.0, in Thailand, bringing together top-performing partners from across India.
The gathering will showcase its latest memory and storage products for content creators, gamers and other digital users in India. The programme is part of Lexar's channel engagement efforts in a market where demand for storage products is increasingly tied to AI-led and media-heavy use cases.
Lexar's partner network in India spans distributors, partners and resellers in 46 cities. This year's edition carries the theme "Choice of Champions", recognising partners that have contributed to its growth in the country.
The company plans to present products across gaming, IT infrastructure, surveillance, media production, photography and AI-related applications. That reflects the breadth of markets where memory cards, SSDs and related storage devices are being sold as consumers and businesses generate and store larger volumes of data.
Market demand
India has become an important market for suppliers of memory and storage devices as digital content creation expands and gaming hardware sales rise. Storage brands are also competing to strengthen distribution beyond the largest metropolitan centres, making partner networks and reseller relationships central to market strategy.
Lexar said its India channel ecosystem is built around a partner-first model that includes marketing and technical support. It linked the event to a broader effort to deepen relationships with distributors and resellers as competition in storage products remains intense.
Executive view
Fissal Oubida, General Manager, Middle East, Africa, and India, Lexar, outlined the company's view of the event and its role in the market.
"Lexar Udaan 2.0 will serve as a platform to celebrate our continued growth in India and the strong relationships we have built with our partners. This initiative represents more than just a partner meet; it reflects our shared journey with our elite partners, celebrating collective achievements while reaffirming our commitment to innovation, quality and channel empowerment. Through this event, we aim to share our future strategies and provide deeper insights into our global innovation pipeline.
"Adding to the significance of this year's edition, Lexar Udaan 2.0 will also reflect Lexar's global partnership with the Argentina National Football Team, where the company serves as the official global storage partner. This collaboration brings together the team's iconic football legacy with Lexar's 30-year commitment to delivering reliable, high-performance storage solutions. Through this association and its continued investment in partner engagement, Lexar reaffirms its confidence in India's channel ecosystem.
"Lexar Udaan 2.0 will unite our elite partners on a single platform, reflecting 'The Lexar Way,' our partner-first approach centred on collaboration, robust marketing and technical support, and shared growth built on trust. We have strong confidence in our channel ecosystem and remain committed to breaking barriers, navigating market challenges and meeting the evolving demands of India's fast-growing digital landscape," said Oubida.
India focus
The company's comments underline how international storage brands are treating India as a strategic sales market not only for consumer devices but also for professional and semi-professional use. Photographers, video creators, streamers and gamers are buying larger and faster storage products as file sizes increase and workflows become more data-intensive.
At the same time, surveillance and IT infrastructure remain steady sources of demand, especially in smaller cities where system integrators and resellers play a large role in product selection. That gives partner meets added importance, as they allow vendors to reward sales performance, communicate product plans and reinforce channel ties.
Lexar has more than three decades of experience in memory and storage. In India, it is seeking to turn that global presence into broader channel reach and higher visibility in categories where several international and domestic brands compete for shelf space and reseller attention.
This year's edition is also tied to Lexar's sponsorship link with the Argentina National Football Team, which forms part of its broader brand positioning. In India, however, the central focus remains the channel, with the event structured around recognising top partners and presenting products for a rapidly expanding digital user base across 46 cities.
