Hisense to stream FIFA Club World Cup 2025 free on smart TVs

Today

Hisense has confirmed its role as an official sponsor of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, with all matches made available free to Hisense and Toshiba smart TV owners through a partnership with DAZN.

The electronics company will provide fans the opportunity to watch every game of the tournament free of charge, accessible via a dedicated campaign on the VIDAA home screen, which is installed on supported smart TVs across most global markets. Fans will be required to register with an email and password, but no payment will be necessary to access the content on the DAZN app.

Global sports commitment

Hisense's presence at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 follows a history of involvement in high-profile sporting events as both sponsor and partner, including as an official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup in 2018 and 2022, and official partner of UEFA EURO 2016, 2020, and 2024.

The company cites its global market leadership in large-screen displays as integral to its efforts to enhance viewers' engagement with global sports. Stadiums during the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will prominently feature the brand's pitch-side message: "HISENSE 100" TV, GLOBAL No.1", its statement notes.

Recognising the value of sports partnerships, Hisense's network extends to organisations such as Paris Saint-Germain, the NBA in North America, NRL in Australia, Real Madrid in the Middle East and Spain, NASCAR in the United States, Red Bull Racing in Formula 1, and several leading entities in esports and football.

Home viewing enhancement

"For Hisense, every match is not just a competition, but an opportunity to inspire, connect, and lead through technology," a spokesperson for the company stated. "This year, Hisense is in the global spotlight as its bold pitch-side message 'HISENSE 100" TV, GLOBAL No.1' appears at FIFA Club World CupTM 2025 stadiums, deepen its emotional connection with sports fans, enhance brand visibility and reinforcing its dominance in large-screen display technology."

According to data from Omdia, Hisense says it led the global market for 100-inch and above TVs with a 56.7% volume share, and for MiniLED TVs with 29.3% in recent reporting periods. The company indicated it has maintained a strong position in these categories during 2023, 2024, and the first quarter of 2025. Hisense attributes this to continual product development in backlight and image technologies.

The ULED MiniLED U7 Series sits at the centre of the company's home entertainment portfolio targeted at sports and gaming enthusiasts. The series incorporates Mini-LED PRO technology, aimed at delivering greater contrast, brightness, and detailed images over standard LED TVs. Its 165Hz Game Mode Ultra is designed to provide responsive viewing, with the intent of recreating high-action sporting environments in domestic settings.

"Further strengthening Hisense's leadership in both the 100-inch and over TV and MiniLED TV segments, the ULED MiniLED U7 Series is engineered for sports and gaming enthusiasts. It features Mini-LED PRO technology, delivering deeper contrast, higher brightness, and finer image detail than standard LED TVs. With a 165Hz Game Mode Ultra and cinematic performance, the U7 Series offers a more immersive and responsive viewing experience—empowering users to enjoy every moment to the fullest."

Interactive viewing experience

The collaboration with DAZN ensures more than just live match access. As part of the campaign, users can engage with interactive elements such as real-time match data, prediction games, updated team rankings, and fixtures. These features aim to strengthen viewer engagement and foster participation among fans watching from home.

The free tournament coverage and interactive campaign features will be available through July 2025 on all compatible Hisense and Toshiba smart TVs that use the VIDAA platform, apart from Japan, where different product arrangements apply.

"Through a dedicated campaign page on the VIDAA home screen, users can watch every live match of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025TM for free, in partnership with DAZN. Fans only need to register with an email and password—no payment required—to enjoy the tournament on the DAZN app available on Hisense and Toshiba smart TVs across most global markets," the company stated. "In addition to live match coverage, the campaign offers real-time match data, interactive prediction games, team rankings, and schedules, providing fans with a more immersive and engaging viewing experience from the comfort of their homes."

Looking to the future, Hisense signalled ongoing involvement in sports and entertainment content, stating a focus on "enriching people's lives through innovative technology" and connecting fans worldwide through evolving display and audio solutions.
