Former JWT CEO launches AI platform for marketing content

Former JWT APAC CEO John Gutteridge has launched Soffiah.ai, an AI SaaS platform that assists small-to-medium sized businesses and emerging brands in creating marketing content.

John Gutteridge, who has previously held the position of CEO at J. Walter Thompson and Mirum Asia Pacific, has collaborated with Data Scientist and AI Engineer Dr Zoe Zhang and Technical Lead Claire Huang to develop this platform. The intent behind Soffiah.ai is to offer companies tools to produce advertising content, social media posts, blogs, emails and more, thus enhancing content creation through AI-driven efficiency.

An integral aspect of Soffiah is its Brand Canvas, a tool devised to support businesses in defining their product positioning, brand identity, and target audience. This process not only aids in establishing a robust strategic framework but also facilitates training Soffiah with crucial data to offer various on-brand content options.

"We invested significant time designing a complex schema and manually training Soffiah on thousands of critical data points," explained Gutteridge. "Inspired by proven brand planning tools and processes, the AI is self-learning and improving with every interaction."

The platform is gaining recognition among businesses due, in part, to the diversity it offers. Agencies and organisations managing multiple brands, such as PharmaCare Australia, have already started employing Soffiah. As Gutteridge elaborates, "Marketing without strategy is vacuous and ineffective, and many smaller businesses just aren't equipped with the marketing experience and knowhow, and can't afford to hire agencies either. So, with Soffiah, we're trying to level the playing field using AI to give these businesses access to global best practices and affordable asset creation."

Dr Zoe Zhang highlighted the adaptive capabilities of Soffiah, stating, "The Soffiah AI engine is finely tuned to each brand's unique identity. We're combining years of marketing expertise with the fastest and most sophisticated AI technology to meet diverse content needs. The engine adapts to users' specific requirements, ensuring every piece of content remains on-brand, professional, and highly personalized."

Soffiah is available with a free 30-day trial, followed by a three-tiered subscription model which includes Starter at USD $29/month, Standard at USD $59/month, and Pro at USD $199/month. Gutteridge noted, "Soffiah is part of a larger proposition we are taking to market.
