Consistent launches Hornet & Raptor Micro ATX cabinets
Consistent Infosystems has launched the HORNET and RAPTOR Micro ATX PC cabinets, expanding its PC components range in India.
The cabinets target users building compact desktop systems, including gamers, office users and professionals. Both feature metal front panels, side ventilation and support for Micro ATX motherboards.
Each includes USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 ports and HD audio on the front panel. They also support up to two hard drives and two solid-state drives, along with a rear 120mm fan.
Both models offer the same hardware clearance, supporting graphics cards up to 270mm and CPU coolers up to 155mm. This places them in the compact desktop segment while still allowing room for mid-range hardware configurations.
Two models
The HORNET is positioned as the more space-conscious option for everyday computing. It is intended for users who want a compact enclosure for routine desktop tasks and general PC upgrades.
The RAPTOR is aimed at systems with heavier performance demands. The company says it is designed with stronger thermal management in mind while retaining the same Micro ATX footprint and core connectivity options.
The products arrive as demand for smaller desktop cases remains steady among buyers who want systems that take up less space without shifting to more restrictive form factors. Micro ATX cases sit between full towers and the smallest mini-PC layouts, offering more room for standard components than compact proprietary machines.
Portfolio push
The launch adds to a broader catalogue spanning IT hardware, surveillance, networking, print consumables and electronics. New Delhi-based Consistent has been expanding its presence across consumer and channel markets in India since starting operations in 2011.
The company says it now has more than 25 branches, over 93 service centres, more than 400 direct employees and exports to more than 17 countries. Its network also includes 3,795 channel partners, and its portfolio spans more than 693 products.
The launch reflects a strategy built on broad distribution and product variety in crowded hardware categories, where pricing and channel reach often matter as much as product differentiation. PC cabinets, in particular, tend to compete on build quality, thermal layout, compatibility and cost rather than major technical leaps.
In this segment, the HORNET and RAPTOR are being pitched around practical design choices rather than cosmetic changes alone. Metal construction, airflow through ventilated panels, and support for common motherboard, storage and cooling setups are central to their positioning.
Budget segment
The company described both cabinets as part of the budget segment. That places them in a market where many buyers are assembling entry-level or mid-range PCs for home use, education, office workloads or mainstream gaming.
The segment has remained active as users extend the life of older systems through partial upgrades instead of full replacements. New cabinets can be part of those upgrades when users need more storage flexibility, better airflow or compatibility with newer components.
The products are intended to serve a wide range of users building or upgrading PCs. The launch also highlights continued interest among Indian hardware brands in addressing local demand for lower-cost PC components with standard feature sets.
"With the introduction of HORNET and RAPTOR Micro ATX cabinets, we aim to provide users with durable, compact, and efficient PC enclosures that meet modern hardware requirements. These products reflect our commitment to delivering reliable and value-driven solutions for a wide range of users, from everyday computing to performance-focused setups," said Yogesh Agrawal, CMD and Co-Founder, Consistent Infosystems.
