Amperity appoints Tony Owens as new CEO to drive growth

Amperity has announced the appointment of Tony Alika Owens as its new Chief Executive Officer and board member.

Tony Alika Owens brings over 20 years of experience in global sales and enterprise operations to Amperity, a company known for its AI-powered customer data platform. His previous roles at well-known companies such as Salesforce and Oracle highlight his proven track record in customer relationship management and data analytics, which Amperity sees as crucial for its continued growth.

Matt McIlwain, Managing Director at Madrona and a board member at Amperity, expressed enthusiasm for Owens joining the team. "We are thrilled to welcome Tony as the new CEO of Amperity," McIlwain stated. "His extensive enterprise software experience in customer relationship management and data analytics, along with his leadership at a global scale, will be instrumental as he leads Amperity through continued growth. I am confident that Tony's obsession with customer value will take the company to new heights in this AI and data-driven era."

Derek Slager, Co-founder & CTO and a board member at Amperity, also shared his confidence in Owens' leadership. Before joining Amperity, Owens served as President of Worldwide Field Operations at LivePerson, where he managed the company's go-to-market strategy. His career also includes significant roles at Salesforce, where he was part of the executive committee and managed field operations in the Americas, and at Oracle, where he served as Group Vice President.

Owens is also actively engaged in various board roles, including with The Mandatum Foundation, SnapLogic, Pathlight, and CIPIO.ai.
